May Favorites

Wow, is it really already June!  I have a couple of favorites from last month that I want to share

Food and Beverage:

Curious Traveler Lemon Shandy- This is the most amazing beer I have ever tasted.  It is so light and lemony.  I tried it for the first time at the wedding I attended last weekend and I am hooked!

This bars are absolutely amazing and really keep me going through the day. They are an awesome blend of unsweetened fruits, nuts, and spices. Plus they are made from whole food, and each bar contains no more than nine ingredients.  The pecan pie and key lime pie flavors are my favorites!

Beauty Products:

I am a little late to the party on this product, but I must say it is now in my beauty arsenal.  I have heard a lot about this brand and how great it was, but I really haven't found a dry shampoo that makes my hair look even decent in the past.  I was a bit weary when I got it in a subscription box last month, but after trying I now know what all the hype was about.  This made my hair look and smell amazing.  Having really oily roots and dry ends makes it hard to go even a day without washing, but this product gave me two full days of nice looking hair before having to wash.

House Goods:

Needless to say our apartment is a huge one on my list.  I am so in love with the layout and the closet space!  The closet is HUGE...  And there is actually an outdoor area all of our own here unlike in the other apartment.

I have a love hate relationship with buying reusable cups.  I love them, but hate the price!  I say this in my local Target/Starbucks and had to have it.  It was so bright and Summery and my old one I made and glittered magically disappeared sometime after I moved to Memphis.  So I saw it and had to have it.

Games and Entertainment:

We have been playing games more since we moved and have more space, so we picked up a couple of new ones to try out.  This is one of my new favorites.  It's a really simple card game but so much fun.

Legendary has to be one of my favorite co op games.  It's hard to explain, but really simple to play.  It's a deck building game where you have to assemble teams of superheroes and you have to fight villains.

We took time out to go see Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.  Sexy nerd and I both share a love for the Avengers and I was really glad we were able to go see it in theaters.  It's soooooo very good.

So SN has been talking about this anime since I met him and finally we ran across the first 4 seasons at Hastings.  We started a tradition of watching a show together while we eat and since we have moved in this is the show we have been working our way through.  It's really good and reminds me a lot of DBZ in a way.

So this month has been crazy y'all.  Moving has taken up the majority of all my time and still is in a way.  I really thought I would have everything here at the new apartment straightened out by now, but sadly I have not.  I am still trying to find places to put things and furniture to complete the bedroom.  Thankfully we did find an amazing full size bed so we are no longer on a twin!  Big girl needs room to sleep.  The animals are slowly settling in and I am really starting to feel at home here and so are we.

Thanks for hanging in there with me lovelies.  Hope y'all are all having a great week.
